Welcome to the Clearfield Neighborhood Watch!!

Reminder for the winter parking ordinance, effective November 1, 2009. Clearfield City Code 7-2-1: ILLEGAL PARKING: Except as provided herein, it shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on any publicly maintained street between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00 a.m.) midnight and five o'clock (5:00 a.m.) in the morning of any day. This continues through and including the last day of February 2010.

This is also a remninder to keep your house and car doors locked and keep your garage doors closed. This is a great way to help lower the possibility of crime in our area.
With the Christmas/Holiday Season upon us, and everyone traveling to different destinations, it's a good idea to give the appearance of someone being home.

If you know your neighbor will be out of town, just keep an eye out for unusual events or circumstances. If a house in your area is unoccupied, keep their driveway and sidewalks cleared of snow. This will give the appearance of someone living there and will deter crime not only to that house, but to yours as well. Also leave on your soffit lights so your house is more illuminated at night.

There has also been a concern about speeding through our neighborhood. Everyone who lives here needs to set the precedence and slow down. Watch for kids. Teach your children to watch BEFORE entering the street. There have been some close calls lately because children just go out into the street without looking first.

Have your youth listen around school for kids boasting of things they have done that are distructive. There has been a group of boys going around the neighborhood recently vandalizing property. So keep your eyes open for this type of occurrance.

If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to use this blog or call Randy's (801) 643-9855.

Thank you for helping to keep our neighborhood a safer place to live!
